help recognize 3 gifts in your day. I don't know about you, but sometimes
life can get hectic, sad, and / or frustrating. Then you can turn around
and see something beautiful, serene, and amazing. I'm choosing to recognize more of the
beautiful, serene and amazing in my life. I need this, and my guess is some of you might be needing this as well.

and if you you're wondering...
Did you take the Joy Dare last year? You don't need anything fancy to keep track. You can
your gifts. Personally, I've decided to keep track in a small journal I picked up at Joann's.
Nothing fancy, but a place I can look back throughout the year and be reminded of
the good stuff.

I think this is a grand idea.
I've got to get downstairs and put the rest of the ingredients into a soup pot. Rick just called to say he's on his way home from a day of trying to help out some family members who live an hour away up in the snow. I'm grateful for soup, a warm home and a husband who is willing to help out my family members.
This does sound like a wonderful idea. I have to get Andrew in the bathtub now, but I am going to look over the links.
Thanks Amy for passing this along. Last year after the death of my friend, I started a gratitude journal, just a notebook I doodled in. "gratitude" was my word for the year. I wanted to soak up the good things in life for her sake and just LIVE-be wholly present, eyes open. I would add some photos here and there, then life got in the way, different dramas moved in and out and I put it aside and that was that! This seems doable, I like that she has a prompt. I haven't been to her site in a long time. I will check it out. Thanks for promoting GRATITUDE!!
thankful for: tissues, burt's bees lip balm, a fluffy robe very hot tea and for feeling a bit like myself again after being sick!
What a fantastic idea! Thanks for the heads up!
Many Blessings,
Melissa
