I originally saw the cute topsy turvy pots on Pinterest. Where else right?
Thats not really what they're called though.
I found this product specially made called Flip Flop Flowerpot assembly kit.

Purchased from our local garden store.
It was a little pricey ($17) for what it actually is.. but I bit the bullet and bought one.

The kit DOES NOT come with the pots.
It DOES come with these two adjustable thingy's (sorry I'm not technical) and a pole.
Place them in your largest pot as shown below.
Next, you insert the pole.
I then added two bricks to my pot.
It does not say to do this, but I thought it would give the pot added stability.
I don't want it to tip over.
Add dirt!
At this time, I also added my first flower. Purple Pansy.
Next comes your first pot. Make sure you leave room for your pot
to slide down the pole, lean to one side and rest in the dirt.
I added my second Pansy.. yellow.
See how easy this is?!
Keep adding your pots, dirt & flowers until you get to the top of the pole.
As you can see, I have added 4 small pots and still have pole left.
I could add another one, but I may just saw the pole off.
When I say I, I really mean my hubby. :O)
Oh.. and another cool feature of this pole is that it has small
holes drilled periodically from top to bottom.
This allows you to water the top pot and it will drain on
down watering the others. Sweet!
I haven't found her final resting spot yet.
Pansy's are VERY hardy.
Probably around early June, I'll change the flowers out to something more summery.
Have you planted anything yet?

Happy Easter Amy! I hope that you enjoyed your day and spring break. This solves quite a mystery for me. I have seen these and always wondered how they balanced. Very cute and I love the pansies. Pansies are hearty and I have put out pots of them in April before. I have been enjoying our Easter flowers inside in a few of our rooms. I do plant the bulbs in a section of our garden after our Easter flowers buds die and next year they pop up in the garden. It is slowly filling up each Easter.
Seeing your finised project inspires me and makes me want to finally make one of these. I didn't realize that they had a kit for the the pole to stand up, that is brilliant.
That looks really cool! Does it tell you what size pots to purchase?
