New Spring Wreath

Its bright and cheery!

I picked up a flat Styrofoam wreath from Michaels yesterday.
Used my 40% off coupon.  Styrofoam's not cheap!
Everything else I had in my craft stash.

I wrapped the wreath with a single layer of yellow yarn,
then kinda crisscrossed all the way around when I was
finished to give it a little dimension.
I crocheted a few flowers, hot glued them in place.
Voila'.. a new wreath to welcome SPRING.

P.S... if anyone is interested in purchasing crocheted flowers I'd
be happy to do a custom order. Just email me at Keepnthesunnyside (at) ymail (dot) com.

I was surprised at how expensive Styrofoam has become. Keep an eye out for it at church bazaars, and the thrift stores as well. That's where I've run across it ~ and picked it up, even if I didn't have a project in mind for it. Your wreath is adorable. Looks like your crochet projects are keeping you busy. Take care.

P.S. Grand daughter Katelyn who just turned one, will NOT keep a headband on her little bald head.
