Catching up on the random

I'm enjoying the beautiful sunshine and warm temps. Its been dry
and just perfect.  We are in for some rain and the temps are gonna
dip just a bit, but 70's work just fine for me.   I've read that some of
y'all are suffering big time from spring time allergens.  We've been
so fortunate this spring.  Our family hasn't been affected as of yet.

We found a dress for my girls 8th grade graduation.
She attends a private catholic school and bare shoulders is a no~no.
She will be wearing a short sleeved cropped cardigan or shrug
in a coordinating color.   She wants to wear wedges, so we are
on the lookout for some coral wedges.  Wish me luck! ;O)

The flowers and trim may appear to be orange but they are coral.

Our sons High School graduation announcements came yesterday.
They are beautiful and make me tear up.  Can't believe its almost here.

I have SO many lists going right now.
2 separate graduation lists.
Vacation packing list
New summer clothes lists for 2 teens.
Formal outfit lists for several upcoming events.
MIL coming to visit list.
Spring cleaning list
My first born moving to college in the fall list.
Do you make lists???

Soccer season has started.  This is our daughters 10th year playing.
Hoping for dry sunday afternoons and safe/fair play.

Still going to the Y each morning.  Yoga 2x's a week.
Such a great decision to join.  If you want to do something
for yourself, you can not go wrong with devoting time to be healthy.

I'm late to the party.
I've only just discovered Nutella.

It is SO good.
I have found that its especially wonderful when you dip
salty pretzel nuggets into Nutella.  You get the salty and the sweet.
True bliss!
Have you tried Nutella?

OK.. I have a question.  Let me 'splain what my dilemma is first.
We have a very nice outdoor patio set.  Great table, chairs, etc.
The cushions are really nice and well made.
We store everything indoors for the winter, etc.
Having said that....
The cushions have a gray film on them. I have
never had this happen before.  I started to notice it last summer.
Its actually kinda hard and crusty for lack of a better description.
Its really strange.  We are right up against a forest and I think
it might just be something off the trees.
I have scrubbed with dawn, borax, etc.  Cannot get it off.
Has anyone ever had this happen or do you have a suggestion??
At this point, I 'm willing to try anything because I will not be
sitting on those things until they are cleaned up.
To replace them would probably cost me Big $$$ that I really don't want to spend.

  Enjoy your day!

So glad you are have nice weather and enjoying the warm temps. We woke up to snow this morning...ugh!!! My poor daffodils are not wanting to open, the buds are ready to burst but I think they are holding out for sunshine.

Your daughters dress is adorable. It is really hard to find modest clothing for girls, sometimes you have to resort to a cute jacket or sweater/shrug to make it appropriate. Good for your school for standing firm on modesty.

The dress is so pretty!! She's gonna look beautiful...

Pollen is terrible here but I'm religiously taking my allergy medicines plus my nasal spray. I've been sick enough lately.

Nutella...I tried it last year and for a bit was hooked but then I got pregnant and just didn't like it much anymore. I ended up throwing about 1/3 of a container away! I know, I know!

I'm def. a list maker and so much more productive when I have one. Not sure about the gunk on your cushions but good luck in finding a solution!

I'll raise my hand as a list maker. I love being able to cross stuff off my list. I also like creating the lists in the first place. In a way~ having everything written down eases the stress of trying to remember everything that needs to be done.

Nutella is good straight off the spoon. I don't buy it, because Nutella is good straight off the spoon.

Don't have a clue about the outdoor cushions. Perhaps you can recover them yourself using a Sumbrella type fabric. Using the 40% coupons at JoAnns will help, and I KNOW you can sew. See I'm trying to talk you into going first.... I have a porch swing that needs new fabric.

Have a wonderful time at the graduations. The dress is beautiful.

Miss seeing you in the sugarpie farmhouse so I am stopping in to say hello. What a beautiful dress. I know she is going to look like a princess in it. I too am a list maker. I do not know what I would do without my list. I have list for everything from housekeeping to children lol.

OK last thing first. Cushions did you try to spray a clorox bleach type spray on them? Spray them and leave them out in the sunshine. Combo together is powerful. Worth a try.

Lists, oh I know the feeling. Got so many of my own, but recently was able to cross off a bunch of stuff....such a GREAT feeling! It is overwhelming sometimes, especially for a person that likes to think of everything! Is the time speeding up or what? Can't believe all of these milestones are here already. Adorable dress for your girl. Good luck with shoes.

Nutella -girl welcome to the party! OK it is seriously delish on every.stinking.thing.you.can.think.of! For a quick company treat if I have nothing else, I keep crescent dough in the fridge and spread it on raw triangle dough roll up and bake regular. Guests love it. Yum!
