I dont care what the groundhog says.. Spring has sprung in KY. At least for the time being.
I wrote this on our chalkboard on Jan.1st. It has been there ever since, and my hubby
has commented several times, that its done the trick. I'm hoping for continued spring
like weather. Love it!
I made THIS for dinner last night and my entire family devoured it.
This is a shocker folks my kids are PICK~EEE! It is a fill your belly, satisfying meal.
Our daughter has picked her freshman high school classes for next year.
For our son we have ordered announcements, senior portraits, and he is registered for his college orientation at U of L. Blows. my. mind.
We've chosen our summer vacay. Anyone that has been reading my blog knows we
are HUGE Disney fans. There is NO WAY
We are adding a stop in Alabama (Auburn) & Nashville. I've never been to either place so if
you live there or you've got something to share, I'd love to read all about it.
I'm looking for a good book series. Any suggestions?
Did you know it takes over 2 months to get a dermatology appt. if your a new patient? Geesh.
I dislike ironing. Why do I wait until my husband is on his last shirt to iron them?
Then I have to do at least 25 at once. Took care of that this am.
Do you ever just need a day of fun? I need one. What would you do?

That suffing recipe looks delish. Don't you just love it when you find a new recipe and it's a keeper.
Spring is not showing itself yet around here but at least the snow is gone.
Needing a fun day? I would go looking for yard/garage sales or go to thrift shops. Whatever you do, enjoy yourself
We are feeling a little bit of Spring here...but, possible upset of a bit of snow this weekend...maybe!
I saved your recipe, looks like a winner to me. Thanks!
If you haven't read the Mitford series by Jan Karon, I recommend that.
I also recommend the Cedar Cove Series by Debbie Macomber.
and last but NOT least, I recommend and am up to gosh maybe the 12 th book in the series is the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr.
Let me know if you've already read these....just curious!
Have a Sunshiny Day!
Ahhhh it was 70 degrees here yesterday so I had the windows open and we even played outside for a little bit.
I must have missed the announcement that your son is going to Louisville. I know you mentioned it but didn't know it was official.
All specialists seem to have a long appt. wait. It is like that with my eye doctor!! I always forget and seem to run out of contacts before they can schedule me.
spring here too - I am just confused, although I have to admit it is easy to get dressed and actually look nice cause you don't have to wear bulky coat/and boots.
congrats on your son and daughter so much to celebrate - time is flying right?
vacay booked? good for you! happily the countdown begins in the sunnyside household - luv good countdowns - now I want to countdown to sometime fun.....we'll have to come up with something.
HATE ironing.....some people love it, I would pretty much rather do any other household chore.
Amy- have you read the Elm Creek Quilt series? If you haven't, I think you would like it a lot.
It is looking like it might be an early spring here too. The weather has been sunny, in the 50's, and I see some of my perennials coming up. I'm starting to have the urge to get out and plant my garden, but that will definitely have to wait a while. :)
