Is blogger fixed yet? & some other stuff

Apparently blogger was having issues with comments yesterday.
It was sporadic, and not all were affected, but apparently my blog was.
It was not recognizing other bloggers being signed
in and showing them as anonymous.  Many I received via email
notification, but they have not showed up in the comment section.
Never the less, as always thank you for taking the time to comment.

Thanks also to those that commented regarding Savannah.  I appreciate
the suggestions.  We will be there for a limited amount of time, but
I hope to see as much as possible.  As always, I'll be sure to take
pics. and be back to share.

I don't know how the weathers been were ya'll live, but it has been
SKEERY around here.  The storms are not only loud, violent &
damaging, but also deadly.  I'm so sorry for all those that are suffering
from the horrific after affects of this crazy weather.  Our town
has been spared so far.  However there is damage all around.
As I'm typing this the skies are again getting dark, we're in
for another round.  Oh. My.

My girl had her guitar recital last evening.  She did very well.
She played "beat it" by Michael Jackson.  Her teacher accompanied
her.  Hub's recorded it, and if its comes out well, I'll share it later.

As many of you know, it was also hubby's bday yesterday.  We ate
dinner at one of his favorite Mexican restaurants, enjoyed his
triple chocolate bundt cake, and opened some presents.  Thanks
for the bday wishes.

My son has now completed his junior year of HS.. and is a SENIOR!
I can't even believe it.  My girl's last day is tomorrow and she is an 8TH grader!
Let SUMMER begin!!

Well.. I'm off to work on a tote bag to take on vacay.

Before I go, I've got questions.

1)  When you pack toiletries, do you bring your LARGE bottles of
lets say shampoo, body wash, etc,     OR
Do you use the smaller travel size container you can fill yourself?

2)  What kind of flower is this?  When we go for walks these are in
many colors along our route.  They are SO gorgeous!!

Later Gators!

I didn't even notice anything with blogger yesterday. I hope they get it together soon.

It depends on how long I will be gone whether or not I use full size containers. If it's more than a couple days I take the big ones so I'm not trying to find more to fill those little ones.

It has been in the 60s here, cold and windy. I hope spring comes soon.

My thoughts are with all the people devastated by this extreme weather. I pray it is over now.

As far as toiletries, I probably waste so much space, we all have our own stuff/bags. So..... I think it depends how many days away. I kind of add it up in my head and think how much stuff I need. If you run out or forget something the hotel usually has it. My brother forgot toiletry bag his bag and Disney gave him everything.

Congrats on your son and daughter. I always get so jealous of your schedule this time of year. Our school years ends June 22, it always feels weird to know that you started your summer already.

As far as the flower. I dont really know. It looks like an Iris to me, but I'm not sure. Sure is a pretty color with those ruffled pedals.

I take samples and use what the hotel has, if it is good. You can always run to a store if you need too.
The flower is an Iris. I had them in my yard when I lived in Utah and I ended up ripping most of them out. They are obnoxious and only look good for about two weeks a year. Don't recommend them. They are pretty when blooming.
