Spring Wreath

This grass wreath has been floating around blogland this Spring.
I found the idea HERE.

Its So super easy to put together.
All you need is a 10" styrofoam wreath & 1 skein of " fun fur".
(found in the yarn department)
Both of which I purchased at Joann's but you can buy
them at any craft store.. even walmart.

I utilized some time waiting in the car for my son.
There is no need for special tools or even glue.

Just start wrapping.

... and wrapping.. and wrapping.  I would say it took about 20 - 30 min.

I added a few flowers, a butterfly and of course I had to make a cute little sign.
Bare Feet Welcome
I used tiny little clothes pins on the sign.

Ok, if this has been floating all around the internet it means I have been spending too much time reading wedding planning blogs and need to get back to the normal crafting world! CUTE!!!! Did you see the Phyllis Hoffman spring issue with the peeps wreath? Wouldn't a few peeps be cute on there too for Easter? Though around my house, they wouldn't stay for long.

Love your black door too! Thank you for sharing the wreath. Gotta get me some green fun fur yarn now!

Oh Amy, so cute. I haven't seen this before so I am glad you showed it. I will definitely have to find that grass. What a nice fresh way to welcome Spring. We are still getting snow!

That is so cute. I love the string that looks like grass. it would be cute to glue some sparkly eggs to look like they are nestled in grass. Cute idea. I may have to do that for easter, as I don't have a great wreath on my door. Thanks for the idea.

That's adorable, Amy! We just learned that according to our lease, we aren't supposed to have anything on our apartment's front door--oops! There was a nail hole there when we moved in, so we assumed it was okay...I'll have to file this idea away for the future! :D
