Ice Tea

.... I lurv it.. year round.

Decided to try this Mr. Coffee Ice Tea maker.
It was very inexpensive and I picked it up at Walmart a couple weeks ago.
Just tried it this week, and I have to admit, it does a pretty good
job.  I think my favorite part is you just pop the lid on when
it quits brewing.. and in the fridge it goes.  Better yet, you
can pour a glass right away because as it brews, it fills
up a tall pitcher of Ice.  You can add your sugar/lemon,
and sit outside in the warm breeze.. at least that's what I
plan to do. ;O)
OH.. and clean up is a snap!
Nope, not getting paid.
Nope they didn't pay for it.. I did.
I just like to share a decent  product when I find one.
For the price, it gets the job done.

I LOVE ice tea. That was the moment I knew I was now a southerner...when you find your favorite fast food ice tea while driving the kids from activity to activity, and only THAT one will do. Honestly, part of why I need a southern vacation is for the tea. It is right there in the top ten of my reasons why I need to get back down south, even for a visit! Big 'ole cup of ice tea in hand at all times.

If you don't mind, please leave me a comment on your mattress choices when you have a sec...my son is searching for one.

Thanks for the review. I was always curious about this product. You see I am a seRious tea snob! I like to brew a pot of tea (Harney & Sons) in (one of my many) teapots and then prepare some simple sugar separately. There is nothing like it in the heat of the summer. Then let it cool a bit before adding to my glass tea pitcher filled with ice. That is they way I like to serve it. I keep a separate smaller pitcher for the simple sugar and guests and family add what they like. So, if I am not mistaken this takes the place of boiling the water and the teapot. Interesting, I might have to check it out and see. Thanks Amy.

oooh, iced tea...it must be spring time! There is nothing like sitting on your porch on a warm spring day sipping on a cool glass of iced tea. Yum! Thanks for the review!

Amy,

I've wondered about those iced tea makers. Have you tried it with a frappucino? I like the idea of it because DH loves iced tea it's just the idea of having more gadgets in the kitchen that I don't like. Thanks for telling us about it.
