I'm going to be using these in our MB re~do. I like the baskets, but not
the liner. Not to mention, I could only find 3 baskets WITH liners. The
4th basket was liner-less. Went to JoAnn's and found a coordinating
fabric that pulls out a little hidden blue color in the new quilt I picked
out for our bed.
Sooo..... while the SuperBowl was on last night, I..........
.....used a seam ripper, and deconstructed the liner to use as a pattern.
It's a pretty raggedy pattern, but it did the job.
Here's my new liner. It was super simple, super easy, only had to sew
4 seems.. and flipped the edges under.
4 newly lined baskets. (They still need to be ironed.)
Do they need something? Should I keep them as is, or add an
embellishment? Also..... Can you guess where their going?

Ooh, they look so pretty! Where ARE they going? I think an embellishment would probably be nice, but you may wanna wait and see how the rest of the room comes together first, no?

I would be tempted to put a self-fabric "flower" on them. Not sure if that would "fly" in our house. I'd know once I saw it. Plus, once in place, they may look fine as is. I decorate slowly. Put something in, walk by it a few times, until it all looks right.
Great idea! I have lots of red ticking and lots of baskets OR maybe mine just need that flower.
These look really good, I love that they can be both decorative and functional.

Gotta be going in the new night stands? Loved the baskets & their new liners. Need to see the quilt before we could answer whether to add anything.
The blue liners turn them from boring to elegant. Not sure about an embellishment since I have no idea where they are going.

Great job, since I know how much you love your sewing machine. I ribbon around them would be cute. I am guessing they are going on the night stands that your boys are making.
