Several years ago, my sweet hubby have me a little devotional book.
I've been through this book a couple times, and I find
myself enjoying them more and more each time I read
them.
I wanted to share the devotional for Jan. 25 th.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you........
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 3:3 NIV
When is the best time to give a hug to a friend or family
member? Whenever you can. And when is the best time
to ask for a hug? Whenever you feel you need one.
Hugs~~genuine and heartfelt~~ are a physical
demonstration of the love we feel for others. That's why
we should be quick to give hugs and just as quick to receive
them.
Mother Teresa once said, "Kind words can be short
and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."
The same can be said for hugs. So do yourself and your
loved ones a world~class favor: hug with abandon~
because you and your loved ones need every single hug
you can get.
A hug is the ideal gift.... one size fits all.

The framed "hug" above was made with those little
glass beads hot glued to scrapbook paper tucked inside
a spare frame. Easy Squeezy!

love this post...... so true! I have a few of those willow figures. I love them. Cute hug craft.
Amy, It's funny to see this post today. My MIL looked at me and said come here "I think you need a hug" she knew I needed one.

I am so addicted to my glue gun! I love projects that make me get that out! Very pretty!
We believe in hugs here!
BTW, I know the lamp looks black, but it really was painted oil rubbed bronze. We shall see. I actually like it now that the tieback is added.
What a great post. I am going to go hug my kids right now, and hubbby later when he gets home! Thanks!
I love getting and giving hugs! A hug is a way to show that you truly care. I work in a bank, and their are some people (especially the elderly) that bare their souls to bank tellers. I often have to refrain myself from hugging people. I don't want to freak them out, ya know?
Great scripture!! Great Post! Thank You!
love the Mother Teresa quote, and isn't so true? Kind words can do wonders for the recipient and we may never know the long term blessings they reach. I'm going to hold that close this week and look for opportunities to speak kindness!
