Taking it slow

Yesterday was such a nice, slooowwww..... day.

Slow day = no alarms, sleeping in, & staying in pj's a little later than
usual. No games, practice, or places to be. No commitments, just
hanging with my favorite people.

We enjoyed a nice lunch, then headed out to see a little nature.
We're nature people.. well.. I am , so that means...
WE are nature people.. HA!

We ended the day by driving into the city to the Irish Pub... so good!
The levee was beginning to put up Christmas lights.. the santa photo is
from Barnes and Noble window display.

We noticed that some of our neighbors are already putting up Christmas lights
down the road. Hub's and I ended the day with our nice sloooww evening walk.
Enjoying the warm breeze, lights, and smells of fall.

You take the best photo's. Were those red berries pepper berries?
Glad you had such a wonderful day with your loved ones.

Great pictures. I love the one of the berries. I also love the bored looks on your kids faces. I can just hear the conversation in their head. "Sheesh, mom takes sooooo many pictures!" "I'm hungry!" Ha Ha Ha!
Glad you got a nice slow day!

I decided to take a break, every worker gets a break, right?, so as the boss, I gave myself one. What am I doing working at 9:43 p.m., anyway? Ah, the small business owner, not true what they say about us. Anyway, I'm all caught up on your posts. You have guessed correctly that I love the wreath, and I love the coffee cozy...waaaaa, Starbucks, outlawed in Vermont, of course. But, if there was one...Best part about your projects, free and CUTE (or gorgeous in the case of the wreath).

I will be suggesting those burritos for my husband! They sound wonderful and he has sausage ready to go. (I'm on a pre-holiday crash diet.) He will LOVE them.

Oh, there's the break bell...gotta go or the boss will be after me! :-)
