to share one handcrafted christmas ornament
idea each week. I got a little sidetracked last
week, so I'm doing a little catchup. I pulled
out my mini pre~lit tree to share this weeks
ornament idea.
My son made this lightbulb snowman in
Tiger Cubs. Yes, the boys did a craft project.. lol..
and yes.. my hubby was Den leader that year.. and
yes.. it was my idea. OK.. got that out there.. but
hey.. they had to do some kind of craft for a badge..
this fit the bill.. and so there ya have it.
My boy crafted this.... 10 years ago. I gotta tell ya
they had a LOT of help.. HA!... it was a messy night ; )
Here are a few more in my collection..... I made this photo collage in Picasa..
I whipped this one up yesterday. The lighting
wasn't great when I took this one. Believe
me, lighting makes ALL the difference!

All ya need are a couple .99 light bulbs, some craft paint, a few paint brushes, a little fabric or felt, some patience, and some free time. Personally, I use google images to find
inspiration, & ideas. I suggest starting there for a little holiday inspiration for your light bulbs.

Holy cow, did you MAKE all of those that are in the collage? You've got some serious artistic talent. Love these!
Justine ;o )
How cute Amy! It is getting time to get serious for Christmas gifts at my house! Plus my little snowman party for my grand babies snowman party! This little snowman would be a hoot for the older ones to do. Cute idea!
Blessings Amy and have a wonderful weekend!!

Such Cute ornaments!!! Who knew a light bulb could have such personality? My favorite is the Santa one. Great job, thanks for sharing your talents with us all.
Well, now you can add artist to your "Next Food Network Star" resume. :-) Too cute. What a great way to recycle old light bulbs and to use the ones we are replacing with new energy efficient ones. I think you should go to Ed Begley's site and send him a link to this post. He might come visit or at least feature you!
They are so cute! Oh my goodness I just love how they turned out!
you are so cleaver and talented,
xo,

Love these! What a cute little Christmas party favor too! I think I'll bookmark this one for the future!
Cute idea. What a great way to use those old lightbulbs. I have a bunch that I don't know what to do with, but they are still good. I just can't through away good things. I will have to pull them out and do this with my kiddos.
Love the new header picture by the way! I am loving all the different ones you have been using!
Those are really nice...did you paint all of them? Love the snowman and Santa.

It was certainly interesting for me to read the blog. Thanks the author for it. I like such topics and anything connected to this matter. I definitely want to read a bit more on that blog soon.
